This tutorial covers the Taming the Beast quest chain from the point just prior to Thotar provides a taming Rod for the Dire Mottled Boar in Razor Hill. Thotar will give you a number of three taming rods, each one differs and allows you tame beasts in the next order: Dire Mottled Boar, Surf Crawler and eventually an Armored Scorpid.

Once you've completed the taming Section of The search chain, you will have imp source to head to Orgrimmar and talk to Ormak Grimshot in the Valley of Honor as a way to unlock your companion pet managing abilities: Tame Beast; Feed Pet; Revive Pet; and Beast Training.

Ultimately, remember to go to the Pet Trainer and grab the Pet abilities that you need to give to your companion pet.
